We have all been shocked by the magnitude of the destruction caused by the earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan in March. The devastation is unimaginable and vast, wiping out entire communities and leaving thousands of people without shelter, medical assistance, and other needed resources. Though the impact of this natural disaster is no longer in the headlines here in the U.S., the Japanese people continue to need the support of the global community to help them rebuild and heal.As part of this global community that seeks to strengthen compassion and kindness, the NY/NJ M.A. (Mata Amritanandamayi) satsang has organized a fundraising event to help the Japanese relief efforts. The M.A. Center has been actively working in the
Tsunami affected area in Japan since March 14.
